Water Pistols Pop Art Painting on A4 Paper
Water Pistols Pop Art Painting on A4 Paper
Painted during a very hot few days in the UK, my latest work on A4 paper depicts two classic examples of plastic water pistols, one in fluorescent green, one in purple, set against my usual sky blue background.
I love the idea of turning these often throwaway toy items that you may get in a children's party bag into a piece of colourful pop art that you can own and display forever. I've employed the repeating style often used by pop artists like Andy Warhol.
The end result is a bold, bright, and very summery painting that would brighten up any room in the house.
It is painted in acrylics and Posca pen on thick high quality A4 paper.
PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes.
