Pop Art Pop Tart Painting On A4 Paper
Pop Art Pop Tart Painting On A4 Paper
Launched in the 1960's, the beloved toaster pastries called Pop Tarts have been super popular as a sweet breakfast item ever since, and seemed to enjoy a resurgence during my youth in the 90s.
Usually with jam inside and icing and sprinkles on top, Pop Tarts were actually originally named after the pop art movement of the era which has influenced me so much. Therefore this painting combines the two in a literal way, making Pop Tarts into pop art.
I love painting food in a graphic, pop art way and I also love painting or drawing typography by hand. The end result is a bold, bright, and original painting that would brighten up any home, or be the perfect gift for anyone with a sweet tooth.
It is painted in acrylics and Posca pens on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame. A4 frames are easy to find however.
