A bright and colourful pop art style print showing donut and flamingo shaped pool floats in a kitsch swimming pool on a summer's day.

I was inspired to create this based on my own past holiday memories but also by the work of one of my favourite artists, David Hockney, who famously captured Californian swimming pools in vivid bright colours and shapes. I was also influenced by a Japanese artist called Hiroshi Nagai, who found cult fame with a stylised take on the pristine beaches, sparkling pools, and endless blue skies of Tokyo's economic boom in the 80's.

The end result is a bold, bright, and original artworks that would brighten any room in the house.

This art print is a recreation of a previously sold painting of mine. I used photos of the original to make Giclee prints that are finished on very high quality thick paper with a nice textured surface and bright, deep, inky colours.
